About the equipment
AF-14H is a multi-head weigher that portions free-flowing products in doses of up to 2500 g. It weighs 140 times per minute with ±0.5–3 g accuracy.
The product is fed from the top and spread across the weighing heads; the system picks the combination that matches the target weight and discharges the portion into the packaging machine. Fill weight is 10–1000 g or 20–2500 g, and the hopper holds 2.5 l. It works at 140 weighings per minute with ±0.5–3 g accuracy.
Set-up and control are via a 10.4-inch touch panel. The weigher runs on 220 V with a power of 2.5 kW, measures 128×130×106 cm and is made in China. With large portions and high speed, it suits producers packing cereals, rice, nuts, dried fruit, frozen products and snacks into larger packs. It usually works together with a vertical packaging machine.
