About the equipment
Vertical packing system for powdered products that packs them into 1.5 kg bags. It consists of a packaging machine, a filler, a feeding unit and a screw conveyor.
The screw conveyor and feeding unit deliver the powder to the filler, which measures out a 1,500 g portion. The packaging machine forms a bag from roll film up to 520 mm wide and closes it with a center seal. Speed is 20–60 bags per minute, bag length 80–400 mm and width 100–250 mm.
The system runs on 380 V or 220 V with a power of 2.8 kW. The packaging machine measures 155×110×151 cm, the filler 90×100×50 cm, the feeding unit 125×105×105 cm and the screw conveyor 300×15×15 cm. It suits medium-sized producers of flour, dry mixes and other powders packed in larger retail bags.
