About the equipment
This multi-head packaging line weighs free-flowing products and packs them into bags of up to 1500 g. It runs at 20–60 bags per minute.
The line has five units: a vertical packaging machine (155×110×151 cm), a multi-head weigher (118×118×105 cm), an elevator (209×105×143 cm), a Z-type elevator (210×52×210 cm) and a platform (162×48×78 cm). The elevators lift the product to the weigher, which weighs out portions, while the packaging machine forms a bag from film and closes it with a centre seal.
Bag length is 80–400 mm, bag width 100–250 mm and film width up to 520 mm. The line runs on 380 V or 220 V with a power of 2.5 kW and is made in China. Since each bag holds up to 1500 g, the line suits producers packing cereals, rice, pasta, nuts, frozen products and snacks for retail.
