About the equipment
This multi-head chips packing set weighs the product and packs it into bags automatically. It fills up to 1000 g per bag at 20–60 bags per minute.
The set has four units: a screw conveyor (300×15×15 cm), a feed elevator (210×93×105 cm), a multi-head weigher (118×118×105 cm) and a vertical packaging machine (130×101×145 cm). The conveyor and elevator deliver the product to the weigher, which weighs out portions, while the packaging machine forms a bag from film and closes it with a centre seal.
Bag length is 40–350 mm, bag width 80–200 mm and film width up to 420 mm. The set runs on 220 V with a power of 2.2 kW and is made in China. It suits small and medium producers bagging chips and similar light snacks for retail: instead of manual weighing and packing, you get bags of consistent weight.
