AF-MB524 is a planer for flattening the surface of wooden workpieces. It planes up to 400 mm wide, and the worktable is 2200 mm long overall.
The spindle carries 4 knives, runs at 5600 rpm and removes up to 5 mm per pass. Motor power is 3 kW, with a motor speed of 2880 rpm. The flattened face then serves as the reference surface for further machining.
The long worktable helps guide long boards and bars straight. The machine measures 2200×750×1020 mm and weighs 380 kg. Joinery and furniture workshops use it to flatten warped or uneven workpieces and prepare them for the next steps: thicknessing, cutting and gluing.
