About the equipment
AF-504F is a planer for flattening the surface of wooden workpieces. It planes up to 400 mm wide and removes up to 5 mm per pass.
The spindle carries 4 knives and runs at 5000 rpm, with a 3 kW motor. The guide fence measures 900×95 mm and supports the workpiece when planing its side edge. This way one face and the adjacent edge are flattened and become the reference surfaces for further machining.
The machine weighs 380 kg. It is used to flatten warped or uneven surfaces of boards and bars and prepare them for thicknessing on a thickness planer. It suits joinery and furniture workshops as well as door and window production.
