About the equipment
FMC 5440 is a semi-automatic machine that seals and cuts film around a product and then shrinks it with heat. It packs items up to 540 mm long, 390 mm wide and 290 mm high.
In semi-automatic mode the operator places the product in the film, and the machine seals and cuts it, after which the film is shrunk by heat. It makes up to 8 packs per minute, and a single item can weigh up to 15 kg.
The equipment runs on 380 V or 220 V with a power of 3.8 kW and measures 129×80×123 cm. The film wraps the product tightly, protects it from dust and moisture and gives the goods a neat look. The machine suits workshops that pack boxes, books, cosmetic sets and other piece goods in small and medium batches.
