About the equipment
AF-S-60 is a pedal-operated impulse sealer for bags with a seal up to 600 mm long. The seam is 3 mm wide, and output is up to 10 bags per minute.
The bag mouth is laid on the sealing bar and the operator presses the pedal: a short pulse heats the element, which welds the film with a 3 mm seam and then cools down. Because the element is not kept hot, the sealer is ready to work as soon as it is switched on. Pedal control lets the operator hold and straighten the bag with both hands.
Maximum seal length is up to 600 mm, so this model is meant for wide bags and sacks. Output is up to 10 bags per minute; the sealer runs on 220 V, consumes 0.8 kW, measures 73×35×28 cm and is made in China. It suits workshops, shops and warehouses packing cereals, flour, feed, fertiliser and other bulk products into large polyethylene bags.
