About the equipment
AF-S-50 is a pedal-operated impulse sealer that closes bags with a seam up to 500 mm long. The seal is 3 mm wide, at up to 10 bags per minute.
The operator places the bag mouth on the sealing bar and presses the pedal: a short current pulse heats the element and the film is welded with a 3 mm seam. In an impulse system the element heats only during sealing, so no warm-up is needed. With pedal control, both hands stay free to hold and straighten the bag.
Maximum seal length is up to 500 mm and output is up to 10 bags per minute. The sealer runs on 220 V, consumes 0.8 kW and measures 73×35×28 cm; it is made in China. It suits shops, workshops and warehouses that pack cereals, sugar, flour, spices, feed or small parts in polyethylene bags, and is especially useful for wide bags.
