Overview

About the equipment

AF-GS-400 is a hand-operated impulse sealer that closes bags with a seam up to 400 mm long. The seam is 3–8 mm wide.

The bag mouth is placed on the sealing bar and pressed with the handle: a short pulse heats the element, the film melts and a 3–8 mm seam is formed. The element heats only during sealing, so no warm-up is needed and the sealer can be used right after it is switched on.

Maximum seal length is up to 400 mm and output is up to 10 bags per minute. The sealer runs on 220 V, consumes 0.8 kW and measures 58×13×17 cm, so it is compact and takes little space on a table. It is made in China. It suits shops, small workshops and warehouses packing tea, spices, cereals, confectionery, dried fruit and small goods into polyethylene bags.

AFEX supplies the equipment and provides warranty service. Tell us your bag width and film thickness, and we will recommend a suitable model.
