About the equipment
AF-BY214X8/10(2) is a two-opening semi-automatic hot press with a total force of 1000 kN. It has three 2500×1300×42 mm heated platens.
The force is generated by 6 hydraulic cylinders, each 85 mm in diameter. The three heated platens form two working openings, so two layers of product are pressed in one cycle. The maximum working temperature of the platens is 120 °C.
Total power is 28.75 kW; the press is designed for continuous operation with semi-automatic control. The 2500×1300 mm platen format suits hot pressing of plywood, boards and faced panels in woodworking shops.
