About the equipment
This pulse oximeter is a compact device that measures blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate. It runs on two 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries.
It displays haemoglobin oxygen saturation from 35% to 100% and pulse rate from 25 to 250 BPM. Saturation accuracy is 2% in the 80–100% range and 3% in the 70–80% range; below 70%, accuracy is not specified. Pulse rate accuracy is 2 BPM.
The device measures 33×60×35 mm, so it is easy to carry in a pocket or bag. It operates at 5–40 °C, can be stored at −20 to 55 °C, and works at a relative humidity of 15% to 85%, non-condensing.
