About the equipment
This rover is a CNC router with a 12-position linear tool changer. It is designed for cutting and milling furniture parts.
The machine has a 9 kW air-cooled HSD spindle running at 24,000 rpm. Tools are held in a 12-position linear changer and swapped by the program, so machining a part with different cutters does not require stopping the machine to change tools by hand.
Travel speed is up to 60 m/min on the X and Y axes and up to 30 m/min on the Z axis, with Delta servo motors on each axis (X 1.0 kW, Y 2×1.0 kW, Z 1.0 kW). Machining accuracy is ±0.05 mm. The worktable uses vacuum hold-down with T-slots, and the vacuum system is rated at 5.5 kW. Control is by a Syntec 6MB system with an 11 kW Taiwan Delta inverter. The machine suits production of cabinet furniture, fronts and decorative parts.
