About the equipment
AF-MB104 is a thickness planer that brings wooden workpieces to a set thickness. It handles parts up to 400 mm wide and 150 mm thick.
The workpiece is fed through the machine at 10.2 m/min, removing up to 3 mm per pass. The spindle runs at 5270 rpm, and motor power is 2.2–3 kW. The minimum workpiece length is 200 mm. After thicknessing, the two faces are parallel and the whole batch comes out at the same thickness.
The machine measures 725×650×850 mm and weighs 160 kg, so it fits easily even in a small workshop. It is used to bring boards, bars and furniture parts to the required thickness and to prepare blanks for doors, windows and joinery.
