About the equipment
AF-40 is a hand-operated impulse sealer that closes wide bags with a 40 cm seam. Sealing time is 0.2–1.5 s, and it weighs 3 kg.
The bag mouth is laid on the bar, and when the handle is pressed the heating element heats for 0.2–1.5 s, welding the film with an even seam. The time is chosen according to film thickness: a short pulse for thin bags and a longer one for heavier material. The element heats only during sealing, so no warm-up is required.
A 40 cm seal is long enough for large bags of flour, cereals, feed, clothing and household goods. The sealer runs on 220 V, is semi-automatic, is made of stainless metal and is made in China. At 3 kg it is easy to use on a table and to move around. It suits shops, workshops and warehouses. This equipment is in stock at the AFEX warehouse.
